Artist
Laura is a Franco English multi disciplinary artist based in London & Marseille. Her practice combines contemporary dance, visual arts, theatre, yoga & is motivated by womanhood & eco feminist themes.
Laura is interested in exploring authentic movement & speech to release emotions & unlock trauma stored in certain parts of the body as a form of empowerment.
As well as teaching & performing for other dance companies in London, she created a female led project in 2020 - “WomanEwer” ; that supports survivors of sexual abuse through community workshops, performances & group discussions. Her work is supported by Arts Council England & Rape Crisis South London. She is currently a resident artist at The Rose Lipman Building, a community centre in the heart of East London.

Laura is part of Van Huynh Company in ‘DEP’, ‘Rebirth', ‘Exquisite Noise’, Etta Ermini Dance Theatre in ‘Glam’, Autin Dance Theatre in ‘Out of The Deep Blue’ and Levantes Dance Theatre in ‘Canape Art’. She co-created Hardly Lucky Dance Theatre in “Pillow Fight”, collaborating with JoliVyann & Elelei Company.
She has travelled extensively, working both as a dancer and workshop leader, for Dance Bridges Festival 2018, in Kolkata, India alongside Van Huynh Co, supporting the local contemporary dance community; as well as France, New Caledonia, Vietnam, Norway, Sweden, Spain and Italy.
Yoga Teacher - 500h E-RYT
Laura fell in love with yoga and acro-yoga in Bali in 2005 and has practiced yoga alongside her dancing since then, to maintain flexibility, improve breath work and to heal from several injuries. In 2019, she I completed 200h yoga teacher training in London, and has taught a wide range of classes ever since in France & the UK.
Shortly after, she completed 100h Yin Yoga and Chinese Meridians training to develop a soulful approach to her practice. Laura teaches regular group classes in London & 1 to 1 classes.
