Make it stand out.

Near Neighbours funded WomanEwer to run one workshop per month in Centre 151 Haggerston, a refugee centre for the South East Asian Community. These workshops were led by a creative team of female individuals, for women who have experienced any kind of abuse and sexual assault.

The sessions combined dance, voice and breath work, self defence, sound healing and guided massage with a psychotherapist available for each session. The aim is to connect the community and the regular local visitors to share their experiences in a safe space, through creative activities and support.
