WomanEwer won a residency program and mentorship at Academy Mews Studio to develop the work. They developed creative and improvisational tasks to find a vocabulary and lead workshops to groups of women from different communities, professional dancers, as well as non-movers.

At the end of the residency, they presented a work in progress and an article was written by Dance Art Journal.

β€œThe barrier of silence broke with the whipping of their clothes and hair, breathy yet bound, their gestures wound up yet wild. In unison, they became dizzying wave forms, intersecting at odd angles and then floating perfectly parallel.”
