Hardly Lucky Dance Theatre will be auditioning students from Southend University to create a dance piece with the students for their last module.

Paul and Laura will encourage the students and give them the tools to create their own material through tasks and improvisation exercises whilst combining acrobatics, contemporary dance, contact improvisation, floor work, physical theatre and influences from breakdancing and acro-yoga.

The students, aged from 14-21 years will learn the basic techniques for dips and lifts, partner work, body posture, grips, counter balances and weight sharing. The residency focuses on stamina and strength through partner work and acro balance.
