Hardly Lucky Dance Theatre will be teaching County Youth Dance Company and creating a piece with the students for Dance Days, the Taliesin Art’s Center Annual Outdoor Dance Festival.
This educational residency aims to develop technical and creative practice whilst combining acrobatics, contemporary dance, contact improvisation, floor work, physical theatre and influences from breakdancing and acro-yoga.
The students, aged from 14-21 years will learn the basic techniques for dips and lifts, partner work, body posture, grips, counter balances and weight sharing. The residency is open to all and aims to improve stamina and strength through partner work and acro balance.
